About ChessMobility
ChessMobility is a revolutionary concept of Chess with
physical exercises. This program will help students to have a healthy mind,
body, and spirit to allow them to maximize their potential.
ChessMobility is a fun workout between chess moves. It will
challenge muscles of the bodies and the minds of the students.
As we know America's children are more inactive than ever, so
with ChessMobility the children will have a lot of fun and at the same time
they will be working out in a friendly environment.
Our mission is to build and maintain a formal program of
instruction to teach the game of chess and to promote, support and increase the
awareness of the educational value of chess.
Creators of
ChessMobility
Nibaldo Calvo Buides
Cuban Chess Expert with International Rating and 20 years of
experience as chess coach in Cuba, Mexico and USA. Author of several chess
books. He teaches Chess in private and public schools.
Bethany Calvo Buides
Bethany is a business professional and author who helps
create curriculum for students and enjoys helping her husband promote chess and
all of its benefits. She has also covered many chess tournaments as
photographer and was published in a chess magazine.
Classes
We are available to provide you lessons of ChessMobility in
schools, libraries, culture centers, etc. ChessMobility strives to provide
students with the resources they need to develop or improve their scholastic
chess endeavors.
We offer after-school chess programs and in-school chess
curriculum. It is our goal to encourage the expansion of scholastic chess
through our programs in order for the students to do better in their classroom
and participate more actively in after school and community events.
*We are available also to provide you regular chess lessons in schools, libraries, culture centers, etc...
